Welcome to issue #44 Here is a concept thats worth understanding, and I think its inevitable that we will at some point experience this in our lives. It's called imposter syndrome. Basically it’s a pernicious and pervasive feeling of doubting accomplishments and fear of being exposed as a fraud — at any moment, everyone will wake up and realise you aren’t so great after all. In actual fact it's a load of bullshit, and your mind is most likely just overthinking itself. You'd be surprised as to how many people don't follow through with an idea or venture because of this. Pictures speak a thousand words, so here is a little sketch by Sketchplanations. |

So how do we get rid of it?
Be confident. Don’t just wait until you feel confident to act like it. Admit when you don’t know something, and be authentic and accept that you don’t need to know everything.
Just ask and seek encouragement. It sounds like silly advice, but sometimes you just need a pep talk or a good shove in the right direction.
Do things that you can't do. Okay this may sound weird, but trying new things will make you realize that you can in fact do them.

Meco Product Hunt Launch! So on last weeks issue I featured Meco, a nifty newsletter reader that has a stunning UI, and just makes the overall experience of reading newsletters that much better. Turns out, the guys over at Meco also really dig The Slice, and I wanted to show my support! It just so happens that Meco launched on Product Hunt today too, and I'd love for you guys to show some support and give them a quick upvote! Not to mention this is great app and one that I fully support. Check their Product Hunt page here!

| Newsletters 🚀My picks of dope newsletters for this week.
| This weeks featured newsletter is TLDR Newsletter, a daily newsletter with links and TLDRs of the most interesting stories in tech, science , and coding! Its no secret that I'm an avid reader and I spend close to 20 hours a week reading, whether it be newsletters, blogs or books and finding good and interesting reads can be tedious, but TLDR has consistently been one of my favourite sources in the space of tech, innovation, and science. | Interesting reads 📚There's a lot of crap on the internet, here's a gem or two. | There’s Nothing to Do Except Gamble. Welcome to the non-fungible, memeified, cryptodenominated, degenerate future of finance. Pity the financially literate! Imagine their email and SMS in-boxes over the past few months as friends and distant relatives seek guidance through the strange new set of acronyms that define the COVID economy. “Can I buy an NFT?” a parent wants to know. (An NFT is a “non-fungible token” — essentially, a digital asset whose uniqueness, and therefore its value, is stored cryptographically on the digital ledger known as the blockchain.) “Should I invest in GME and AMC?” a cousin wonders. Perhaps you can’t move forward on your project without their input so you find yourself blocked. How do you imagine you feel in this situation? What is interesting is how they managed to get their first 100 customers and how you might be able to replicate that tactic.
